Before you come over to Spain to look at property ensure that you have the appropriate documentation available to present to your estate agent, you will need to provide proof of income, bank statements & wage slips just like any other country. A copy of your passport and passport photos are always advisable to bring with you. A NIE Number would need to be arranged (NIE number is a Spanish Identity Number which you are required to have when purchasing a property in Spain and to obtain a mortgage with a bank).
